Our story
From the record of care to intelligent action
Genetix did not start with robots or algorithms. It started with the conviction that healthcare runs on information — and that everything else should build on it, carefully.
Chapter one
Information first
Genetix begins where healthcare itself begins: with information. The record of care — who the patient is, what has been observed, what has been decided — is the foundation every other capability depends on. Our roots are in healthcare information software: electronic health records, information exchange and the administrative systems that keep healthcare organisations running.
That starting point shaped a lasting conviction: information is only valuable when it is structured, current and available at the moment of care.
Chapter two
From records to workflows
A record describes what has happened. A workflow decides what happens next. As the portfolio grew, the focus widened from storing information to moving it — clinical and operational processes made explicit, with owners, status and accountable handovers.
Interoperability became a discipline in its own right: governed interfaces that let systems share context instead of copying it.
Chapter three
Intelligence and action
With a connected information and workflow foundation in place, two frontiers opened. Artificial intelligence, positioned inside the workflow to support professional decisions. And medical robotics — surgical, assistance and logistics systems that act in the physical world while remaining connected to the record of care.
Together they complete the arc that defines Genetix today: from healthcare information to intelligent action, with people in control at every step.
The chapters above describe how the portfolio fits together, not a dated corporate timeline. A detailed company history will be published here as it is prepared.
