Research and innovation
New capability, developed with discipline
Innovation in healthcare technology earns its place through evidence, evaluation and careful introduction. This is how Genetix approaches what comes next.

Our approach
The most important question for any new healthcare technology is not whether it is impressive, but whether it improves care in practice. Genetix development work is therefore anchored in real workflows: capabilities are designed with the professionals who will use them, evaluated in context, and introduced in phases with clear oversight.
The connected platform makes this possible. Because information, workflow and governance are shared services, a new AI application or robotic capability can be trialled with its data pathways, review steps and audit trail defined from day one — and withdrawn as cleanly if it does not earn its place.
Focus areas
Where our development attention goes
Clinical AI in the workflow
Developing and evaluating AI capabilities inside realistic clinical workflows — where placement, timing and reviewability matter as much as model quality.
Human–robot collaboration
Studying how clinical, nursing and logistics teams work alongside robotic systems: task handovers, supervision models and trust.
Interoperability engineering
Advancing standards-based approaches that let clinical systems, AI services and robotic fleets share context safely.
Workflow science
Making clinical and operational processes observable and improvable — the foundation for meaningful automation.
Working together
We develop in partnership with healthcare organisations and their clinical teams — because the people who deliver care are the best judges of what genuinely helps.
